Ok...so now I have a new addiction...and a whole new appreciation for "binge" drinkers. I am on a bender!
This is an example of a "Zentangle". I have recently discovered this art form and have been going through paper like mad. I am "tangling" on anything that is a blank surface. This one was inspired by my sister Stacey's diagnosis of breast cancer. Thankfully confined to the tumor that was removed. I just started with the ribbon and blossomed from there. I hope that you all like it.
Just stepped out for an excursion to AC Moore. Thank you David for keeping Luke at home with you. I think this was the only time that I went to AC Moore and DIDN'T spend a large portion of the trip trapped in the Thomas aisle with a 4 year old who wants to buy another train, but already owns all of their selection...
Anyway, chose 3 different brands of pens and a tray of watercolors as well as a small spiral sketchbook and a watercolor block. Also picked up an erasing shield. That should come in handy! Watch for more Zentangles to come as I learn more and more of the "tangle" patterns and settle on my favorites! Have fun everyone.
